01

General Services

What kind of technical support does CTI Solutions offer?

We provide computer and IT support for individuals and small businesses, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, computer hardware repair, component replacement, software and Windows assistance, system setup, configuration, and maintenance.

We also provide specialized independent support for legacy Ann Arbor Digital Devices imaging systems, including software, acquisition, storage, wiring, and internal hardware problems.

Do you support computer systems that are not related to A2D2?

Yes. CTI Solutions performs general computer diagnostics and hardware repair in addition to A2D2 work. We can assist with personal computers, home offices, and small-business systems through email, phone, remote connection, bench repair, and limited local on-site service.

Do you provide on-site support?

Yes, on-site diagnostics and repair may be available within a limited local service area. Availability depends on the location, scheduling, and whether the problem can reasonably be handled on-site.

For customers outside the local area, phone support, remote connection, local repair providers, or shipping equipment to CTI Solutions may be more practical.

Do I need an account or login to request support?

No. You can use the website contact form without creating an account. Include the equipment or computer model, software and Windows versions when known, exact symptoms or errors, and anything you have already tried.

02

A2D2 Support

I am a former A2D2 customer. Can I still get support?

Yes. Richard Schaffer, owner of CTI Solutions, spent more than 15 years working with A2D2 systems and previously served as Head of Diagnostics, Repair, and Technical Support at Ann Arbor Digital Devices.

CTI Solutions is independent and is not Ann Arbor Digital Devices, but it continues providing knowledgeable help for many A2D2 hardware and software problems.

Can CTI Solutions repair my A2D2 system?

Yes, depending on the model, failure, equipment condition, and availability of replacement parts. Repairs may include damaged internal wiring, power-related problems, and other internal imager components.

Software, acquisition, camera, storage, and configuration problems may be handled through email, phone, or remote connection without shipping the imager.

Can I ship A2D2 equipment to CTI Solutions for repair?

In many cases, yes—but contact us before shipping anything. We first need to determine what equipment should be sent, whether the problem appears repairable, the expected service cost, and how the equipment should be packaged.

Do not ship equipment without prior arrangements. Shipping charges, insurance, parts, and repair labor may be billed separately.
Can you provide a different or newer version of A2D2 software?

Possibly. The correct version depends on the imager or camera model, Windows version, 32- or 64-bit architecture, and whether the system uses basic X-rays or motion features.

Before changing versions, tell us the exact version currently installed and the equipment detected by Windows. Installing the wrong release can create new acquisition or compatibility problems.

Where can I find common A2D2 troubleshooting steps?

Visit the A2D2 Support page for common errors such as missing shot buttons, No Imager Detected, Error 8195, XML errors, patient-name problems, and object-instance errors.

Pricing, Scheduling & Payments

How do I request support?

Use the Contact Us form and describe the problem in as much detail as possible. Initial email questions and general troubleshooting direction are free.

If the issue requires scheduled step-by-step assistance, remote access, physical repair, or an on-site visit, we will explain the appropriate paid option before work begins.

What does support cost?
  • Email guidance: Free for initial questions and general troubleshooting direction.
  • Phone support: $50 per half hour.
  • Remote connection support: $100 per hour.
  • On-site diagnostics: $75 within the available local service area.
  • Hardware repair: Priced according to the issue, parts, and required work.

Current service details are available on the Services page.

Will I be charged just for submitting a support request?

No. Sending the initial message does not automatically create a charge. We will tell you when a problem requires paid assistance, explain the service rate or estimate, and obtain your approval before beginning paid work.

How quickly will CTI Solutions respond?

We aim to respond to support requests within one business day, and many receive a reply sooner. Response time is not guaranteed and may vary with workload, scheduling, weekends, holidays, research requirements, and the complexity of the problem.

If the matter is time-sensitive, clearly state why and include complete technical details in the first message.

Can I pay for services online?

Yes. CTI Solutions can provide a customized Square invoice or payment request for approved services, repairs, parts, shipping, and other applicable charges.

04

Digital Downloads

What kinds of digital products are available?

The CTI Solutions download shop includes A2D2 documentation, technical checklists, computer-maintenance resources, medical-imaging forms, emergency and recovery organizers, and other practical tools.

Does purchasing a download include technical support or customization?

No, unless the product listing specifically says otherwise. Digital products are provided as ready-to-use resources. Purchases do not automatically include technical support, customization, installation, or professional advice.

Where do I access a purchased download?

Squarespace sends the download information to the email address used during checkout. Check your inbox and spam or junk folder. If the message does not arrive, contact CTI Solutions with the purchaser name, email address, and product title—but do not send payment-card information.
