Privacy Policy
CTI A2D2 X-Ray Viewer is designed to provide authorized access to patient X-rays over the selected local network without sending patient images, patient details, connection settings, or credentials to CTI.
A fresh App Store installation contains no patient records, X-ray files, acquisition-computer addresses, usernames, passwords, or saved folder paths.
CTI does not receive patient images, patient details, connection settings, or credentials from the app.
Connection settings stay on the device, and a supplied password is stored in the device Keychain.
Fresh installation
A fresh App Store installation contains no patient records, X-ray files, acquisition-computer addresses, usernames, passwords, or saved folder paths.
No CTI data collection
The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, CTI cloud service, or developer-operated patient database.
CTI does not receive patient images, patient details, connection settings, or credentials from the app.
Direct local-network access
When authorized staff configure a connection, the app communicates directly between the device and the selected acquisition computer or network share.
Patient and image information is used only to provide the viewer's requested functions.
Information stored on the device
After setup, the app remembers the computer address, share and folder path, username, and domain in app-only preferences.
A supplied password is stored in the device Keychain.
Downloaded working images, thumbnails, and A2D2 processing sidecars may be kept in the app's cache to improve performance.
Annotations remain in memory unless the user exports a separate annotated JPEG to the acquisition computer.
Removal and retention
Choose Connect, then Disconnect & Clear Local Data to remove the saved connection, saved credentials, and clinical image caches from the device.
Deleting the app removes its app container.
Source files and intentionally exported JPEGs on the acquisition computer are not deleted by this action.
Security
Access is limited to network locations and credentials selected by authorized staff.
The optional Require Authentication to Open App setting uses Apple's Face ID, Touch ID, or device-passcode authentication as an extra local gate before patient X-rays can be viewed. This setting is off by default.
The app does not receive or store biometric information or the device passcode, and it does not create a separate CTI password.
The app does not upload clinical information to iCloud or third-party services.
Organizations using the app remain responsible for configuring access controls and complying with applicable patient-privacy and medical-device requirements.
